tobogganing in the stubai valley

family-friendly sport in stunning nature

With twelve toboggan runs, the Stubai Valley is without a doubt one of the top toboggan locations in the region. The valley is home to two exceptionally long runs at 8 km and 13 km. And the best thing is that at the top of almost every run there is a cosy hut serving food and drink. The perfect place to warm up again before whizzing back down into the valley!

The 10 km toboggan run in the Elferlifte ski resort is located opposite our hotel. Tobogganing is a sport which is even more fun in a group, so we have a weekly tobogganing evening where we share with our guests not only some of the best runs and huts in the area but also some top tips on keeping control in those tight corners!

Floodlit tobogganing

When the sun goes down, the real toboggan fun is only just beginning! At our partner shop Sport Stubai guests will find a wide range of toboggans available for hire.

There are two floodlit toboggan runs opposite the Stubaierhof.

toboggan hire

everything you need

It is little wonder that the Stubai Valley is considered one of the top toboggan destinations in the Alps.

All twelve toboggan runs have been certified by the local government and offer excellent conditions throughout the season.

The valley also has 14 hire shops in Neustift, Fulpmes and Mieders as well as in the ski resorts of Schlick, Elferlifte and Serlesbahnen. Just a few metres from our hotel is our partner Sport Stubai with a large selection of toboggans available for hire.

Almost all toboggan runs in the valley can be accessed by cable car. Most huts at the top of the toboggan runs also have toboggans available for hire.
