Tyrolean roots, a down-to-earth attitude and a genuinely warm welcome form the foundations of our philospophy and identity here at the Stubaierhof in Neustift. This feeling is something we are keen to pass on to our guests during their time with us in the Stubai Valley – from the moment they arrive to the day of departure.
tyrol: our home
we love the mountains
We are proud and grateful to come from what we think is one of the most beautiful regions in the world. This love of the Stubai Valley and all that has to offer is evident in all we do here at the Stubaierhof – and it is infectious! Let us show you the best things to see and do in the Stubai Alps.
The Stubaierhof combines the best of both worlds: a love of tradition and, at the same time, a openness for modern service and facilities.
This fusion gives the four-star Stubaierhof a special flair and atmosphere appreciated by our guests, many of whom come back year after year.
We look forward to welcoming you!

How it all began

Theresia and Heinrich Hofer take over the running of the Innsbrucker Hütte hut after the end of the Second World War. From 1964 the nearby Franz Senn Hütte is also run by the Hofer family.
The Innsbrucker Hütte I
the year 1966
Johanna, who grew up in the Nürnberger Hütte hut just a few kilometres away, and Josef Hofer take over the running of the Innsbrucker Hütte at a young age. Josef's parents continue to run the Franz Senn Hütte hut in the Stubai Valley.
The Sportpension Hofer
the year 1972
In 1972 the Sportpension Hofer in Neustift is built. It is initially used as a dormitory by the ski academy in Neustift and in the summer months as accommodation for skiers taking part in the Kneissl Racing Camp.
The Hotel Stubaierhof
the years 1977 - 1982
On 9.12.1977 the Hotel Stubaierhof, previously known as the Sportpension Hofer, is officially opened. In 1982 it is expanded to a capacity of 75 beds.

Marlene und Franz take over the running of the Innsbrucker Hütte hut after years of managing it together with Josef and Johanna. This mountain hut in the Stubai Alps hut has now been run by our family for more than 60 years.
Expansion & modernisation
from 2007 until today
All three generations of the Egger & Hofer families decide to expand and modernise the Stubaierhof. Since then we have continued to improve our service and look forward to welcoming you to the Stubai Valley.
2017 was the time to modernize again. Since then, all rooms in the categories "Gamsplatzl" and "Goldsuttn" have been given a new shine - with elegant wooden floors, modern furniture and a guaranteed feel-good character.
The biggest wooden gams (chamois) in the Alps
Directly in front of the hotel and surrounded by greenery, our adventure park the "chamois parcour" was created. With several exercise stations and a huge wooden chamois you will find your personal way to balance. Try it!
