Leave the stresses and strains of everyday life far behind and plunge into a world of total relaxation. Guests at the Stubaierhof can do just that with a visit to our spa and pool.
How you relax is, of course, entirely up to you. Our tip is to start your visit to the spa by simply floating on the water's surface and letting the underwater massage jets relax your muscles as you enjoy fabulous views of the mountains and glaciers that surround our hotel.
Then, why not pay a visit to the Finnish sauna? Or how about the aroma steam room, the infrared cabin or the Tyrolean herb bath? And if things get too hot, simply cool off with a little Kneipp water therapy!

the spa facilities at a glance
The spa and pool area at the Stubaierhof is the ideal place to relax. We have put together an overview of the facilities on offer.
Finnish sauna: Classic Finnish sauna with a temperatue of around 90°C. Stimulates the blood circulation, strengthens the immune system and relaxes muscles.
Aroma steam room: With a temperature of around 46°C, the air in the aromatic steam room is pleasantly warm and has a high level of humidity. This humid atmosphere is good for the skin and stimulates the metabolism without placing too much of a strain on the cardiovascular system.
Kneipp water therapy: This form of water therapy, which involves immersing the legs and arms in pools of cold and warm water, was invented in the 19th century by a priest named Sebastian Kneipp. It is still popular today and is known not only as a gentle way of stimulating the body's circulation and metabolism but also as a good way of strengthening blood vessels.
Tyrolean herb bath: An air temperature of 60°C stimulates the circulation and strengthens the immune system. This, combined with a selection of natural herbs from mountain meadows, make the Tyrolean herb bath a more pleasant and less strenuous alternative to the classic Finnish sauna.
Infrared cabin: The infrared heat produced in this state-of-the-art cabin penetrates deep into the body's muscles and stimulates the circulation of blood to the organs, tissue and skin. The metabolism is activated and the sweat produced helps to remove toxins from the body.
Indoor pool: With a pleasantly warm water temperature of 29.5°C, our indoor pool is the perfect place to swim a few lengths and enjoy fabulous views of the Stubai Mountains. The pool features a jetstream system that allows you to swim against the current, as well as bubble and massage facilities.

At the Stubaierhof we are passionate about the region we are proud to call home.
Our motto is "Hurra, die Gams!", an expression used in this part of Austria to signal joy and a love of life. We think it perfectly reflects the values and philosophy we live every day, because:
- we love the mountains,
- we appreciate our nature,
- we are down to earth.
Just like the "Gams", which is the German word for "mountain goat", we feel at home in the Alps - whatever the weather, whatever the season - and are always keen to learn more about this region and share our passion with guests at the Stubaierhof.
