Fresh, Honest, Seasonal – Regionality at its Finest
At the Stubaierhof, everything revolves around true values, genuine hospitality, and a deep love of nature. 'Gams' consciously, we focus on quality, regionality, and sustainable indulgence. What defines us is a clear choice – for the authentic, the best, the original.
Clack, clack, clack – follow our ‘Gamsʼ hoofsteps into its culinary world. Thereʼs nothing to complain about here.
We only use products of the highest quality from the habitat of the ‘Gamsʼ.
Depending on the season, we choose our ingredients generously provided by Mother Nature to us and the ‘Gamsʼ.
We avoid convenience and ready-made products as well as artificial flavour enhancers.
- Premium ingredients cooked to perfection for a wholesome, healthy meal.
-
Locally sourced and seasonal produce prepared with the greatest of care.
-
In summer we cook with fresh herbs and spices from our very own Alpine herb garden. In winter we preserve their flavours naturally for a healthy and tasty experience all year round.
-
Food sourced regionally instead of globally to ensure short transport routes.
-
Personal relationships with local growers, suppliers, and producers, so we know where the food comes from.
-
Alpine recipes interpreted in a modern way to keep tradition alive.
-
Careful selection of the highest quality ingredients and foods for the best taste.
-
Daily vegetarian menus with high-quality ingredients.
-
Food intolerances? We’re happy to offer lactose- and gluten-free alternatives.
- No genetically engineered or overbred meat from factory farming
- No exotic fruit harvested before they are ripe, such as mangos, papayas, and others.
- No presumably fresh strawberries in winter.
-
No tuna fish from tins or other overfished species.
- No vegetables that travelled the world before landing in our kitchen.
- No Eggs from unhappy chickens locked up in cages
- No milk and yogurt produced in factory farms, because we’d rather have our cows roam free on alpine meadow.
- No low-cost, partially baked bread, because it can never match up to the baking skills of our kitchen team or local bakeries.
- No vegan cuisine – it doesn’t align with our regional philosophy.
Vegetarian menus are available every day.
