Maximum flexibility & 0% risk in times of social distancing
Whether in our hotel building, in the expansive gardens, on the sun terrace or in the Stubai Mountains, here’s what you can expect:
- Plenty of space – all of the Stubai attractions, theme trails, cable cars etc. are up and running.
- Plenty of fresh air – we will personally accompany you through the mountains, whether on foot or by bike.
- Plenty of hospitality – even without an embrace, you can tell that, by nature, we are all warm hosts.
- Plenty of safety – hygiene, disinfection and cleanliness are not new concepts to us. And we maintain the same standards even when we have to wear masks :-)

Throughout the entire hotel, we and our employees adhere to the social distancing measures imposed by the government. Our guests are also obliged to show mutual consideration to one another in this regard. Luckily this is really easy here, as we have sufficient space and large, open rooms in all parts of the hotel.
Currently, due to government measures to contain the coronavirus, most tourism businesses (including hotels, restaurants, spas) are expected to stay closed until early January.
Ski resorts have been reopened end of December. The thorough implementation of Covid-19 protective measures ensures a safe skiing experience.
It goes without saying that we apply a competent and cautious approach when serving our guests. The fact that we have reduced the frequency and duration of our contact with you will not detract from this. Our goal is to serve you with the usual high level of quality and to address any concerns and requests you might have. Social distancing is no match for the high level of hospitality we offer!
The check-in and reception services have been appropriately adapted to the current situation, but remain as helpful and hospitable as ever.
Yes, we are still able to serve our extensive breakfast buffet with tea and our organic food corner. Our afternoon buffet is also still available to you. There is just one difference: wearing a mask and hand sanitising is mandatory when visiting the buffet. We will of course provide you with the necessary equipment.
We are delighted to be able to offer our 5-6 course menu with our "Schmankerl'n vom Berg" (mountain treats), a host of regional delicacies and light, healthy dishes. Rushing back and forth like the much-loved chamois mountain goats native to the region, our waiting staff will still serve each dish to your table – if necessary wearing face masks or visors.
Our wellness & wellbeing area is fully at your disposal. Trained staff will ensure that social distancing measures are adhered to. In the sauna cabins, the relaxation room and the indoor pool, we request that you observe the minimum distance regulations. Luckily our wellness area, with its swimming pool featuring panoramic views, the saunas and new & improved fitness suite is very spacious. In the sun garden, which spans an area of 4,000 m² and features our unique Mountain Goat Climbing Park, there is plenty of space in which to relax and unwind.
In order that we can offer maximum relaxation for every guest, we have significantly extended our opening hours!
Along with their team, our therapists Monika and Claudia can once again offer high-quality massages and treatments while still adhering to the necessary safety and hygiene measures. If you have special requests, it would be helpful if you could let us know these in advance in order that we can plan ahead as best as possible.
Of course! Especially in this year's "Corona Year", the contactless online purchase of your ski passes is highly recommended. Uncomplicated, fast and safe - what more could you want?
Keeping the distance of one meter, as well as wearing a mouth and nose protector (FFP2) is obligatory in the gondolas and cabins of the Stubai ski areas.
Ski huts and mountain restaurants stay closed until end of January.
- We recommend a table reservation in the mountain restaurants.
- In the huts the waiters assign the tables, which means that there is currently no free choice of seats.
- Digital menus are usually available on the tables.
- Please wear your mouth and nose protection in the self-service areas and when passing through the restaurant.
- Please use the disinfectants provided.
- General Covid regulations and guidelines of the individual huts must be observed.
Up-to-date information on protective measures as well as travel warnings can always be found on the Stubai Glacier website. These are constantly updated.

At the Stubaierhof we are passionate about the region we are proud to call home.
Our motto is "Hurra, die Gams!", an expression used in this part of Austria to signal joy and a love of life. We think it perfectly reflects the values and philosophy we live every day, because:
- we love the mountains,
- we appreciate our nature,
- we are down to earth.
Just like the "Gams", which is the German word for "mountain goat", we feel at home in the Alps - whatever the weather, whatever the season - and are always keen to learn more about this region and share our passion with guests at the Stubaierhof.
"Hurra, die Gams!" – Come and discover the Stubai Valley with us!
Dear guests of the Stubaierhof!
Due to current measures the Stubaierhof is closed temporarily.
However, if all goes as planned we will be able to welcome you again on March, 01. Until then your diligent hosts are working hard to implement new ideas and prepare everything for a great winter holiday at the Stubaierhof.
We are of course always available for questions and look forward to hearing from you! Until then, we wish you all the best!
Hurra die Gams!
